About The Position

This role will offer trauma-informed, culturally competent care to children, adolescents, adults, and families within our community. To provide clinical assessment and treatment services to clients with a variety of mental health issues. Works collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide optimal, quality services to clients. Responsible for completion of client medical records, in compliance with regulatory standards. Develops discharge plans and linkages aimed to encourage functioning within the community.

Requirements

Doctoral degree in Psychology or Social Work
Three to five years of previous work related experience
Three to six months of on the job training and orientation
Sound clinical judgment
PhD or PsyD license required commensurate to degree or post doctoral permit by the state of New Jersey
Analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems.
Ability to prepare detailed assessments of patient referrals, counseling individual, group or family members, or perform other duties requiring a comparable level of communication skill.

Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
