You will provide top-quality evidence-based, whole-person care using your client-centered biopsychosocial approach, collaborating with multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams (e.g., physiotherapists, kinesiologists, occupational therapists, vocational rehab specialists, case coordinators, psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors and social workers). Your work will directly impact the lives of Canadian Veterans, supporting their recovery from service-related health conditions, and provide essential mental health and rehabilitation treatment to clients recovering from motor vehicle accidents, work-related injuries (WCB), long-term disability, and musculoskeletal conditions. Our team excels at assessing client needs, identifying underlying issues, and delivering targeted treatment plans that support timely and effective recovery. You will find purpose in this role by: Bringing your unique assessment competencies to a range of applications, from pre-employment suitability assessments for high-risk occupations to diagnostic assessments to guide treatment and psycho-social resource building. Delivering individual and group treatment for a wide range of presenting concerns, including anxiety, trauma, depression, somatic complaints, substance misuse, adjustment, and interpersonal issues within the person’s psycho-social context. Leveraging novel approaches to the delivery of mental health services, including adjunct digital therapeutics. Consulting with other mental health service team members and clinical interdisciplinary teams. Contributing to in-house training sessions and interdisciplinary case discussions. Contributing to program outcome evaluations at the provincial and national level.
