About The Position

Responsible for conducting psychological assessments, diagnostic testing, and producing psychological evaluations for patients of FCHC. The Psychologist will conduct psychological evaluations including interviews, collateral contacts, identifying and administering appropriate screeners and tests, formulating written reports that include diagnostic formulation and recommendations, and delivering real-time feedback sessions with patients and/or guardians. The role also involves independently managing time, meeting monthly standards for productive use of time, serving as an expert resource for integrated primary care and behavioral health providers, maintaining clear and timely medical records, and ensuring all ethical and legal protocols are followed to retain test security. Periodic duties include contributing services to community public health activities, participating in Center work teams and problem-solving groups, and performing other duties as assigned. The Psychologist will have working relationships with patients, community organizations and agencies, professional colleagues and organizations, and institutions of learning.

Requirements

  • PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology from an APA accredited program required.
  • Active MO state license required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in psychological assessment and testing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Respect for and maintenance of client and staff confidentiality is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Work experience or strong desire to work in urban community health setting preferred.
  • Active professional development as demonstrated through attendance of seminars, continuing education programs, etc. is strongly recommended.
  • Satisfactory maintenance of continuing education standards as established by the Division of Professional Registration of Missouri is required.

Responsibilities
