The Psychologist I - Telehealth Substance Use focus provides multiculturally competent telebehavioral health counseling and outreach to individuals, couples, and groups within the Telehealth Institute’s communities served, with an emphasis on substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns in the youth and adolescent populations. The role includes crisis intervention, psychological assessment, program coordination, supervision, and training, with a strong focus on evidence-based interventions for substance use disorders. May provide supervision for doctoral interns, graduate students in counseling or clinical psychology, and graduate assistants. The Psychologist may also collaborate with schools and other healthcare settings to improve access to behavioral health services for youth and their families.
