Provide standardized and functional assessment, evaluation and treatment in managing cognitive difficulties resulting from Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), stroke or other conditions within the Inpatient Intensive Rehabilitation Unit (IRU) and the Outpatient Neurological Services. The role involves performing psychological assessments and clinical evaluations, developing and implementing intervention plans, conducting crisis intervention, and advocating for resources. The psychologist will document assessments and interventions, collaborate with team members, provide education on clinical discoveries, and consult with Outpatient Neurological Services. Additional duties include preparing statistical reports, attending multidisciplinary meetings, providing supervision and training to new staff and students, encouraging professional development, promoting health and safety, evaluating patient care, contributing to learner development, and participating in relevant training.
