Psychologist (Contract Position)
About The Position
The Arc of Washington County is seeking a Maryland-licensed Psychologist to provide contractual supervision for two (2) experienced Psychology Associates supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The Psychologist will supervise the two (2) Psychology Associates who conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior plans. This is a part-time contractual opportunity requiring approximately 4 - 6 hours per week. The position will work collaboratively with the Psychology Associates to support the and implementation of effective, person-centered behavioral strategies that promote independence and safety for the individuals served through The Arc.
Requirements
- Maryland-licensed Psychologist
- Experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD)
- Experience conducting functional behavior assessments
- Experience developing behavior plans
Responsibilities
- Provide contractual supervision for two (2) experienced Psychology Associates.
- Supervise Psychology Associates who conduct functional behavior assessments.
- Supervise Psychology Associates who develop behavior plans.
- Work collaboratively with Psychology Associates to support and implement effective, person-centered behavioral strategies.
- Promote independence and safety for the individuals served through The Arc.
