About The Position
Coordinates clinical psychology services, including patient care, treatment plans, and staff training, to ensure high-quality care and compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited school, required.
- Completion of pre-professional internship in health service internship and post-doctoral training, or equivalent experience, required.
- Psychology license in the State of Ohio, or eligibility, required.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements.
- Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
- Meets requirements for Medical Staff at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
- Experience in health service psychology, or equivalent education, required.

Responsibilities
- Coordinates and oversees the clinical psychology program, ensuring that all aspects of the program are in compliance with the relevant regulations and standards.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures related to the clinical psychology program, ensuring that they are consistent with the goals and objectives of the organization.
- Provides supervision and guidance to clinical psychology staff, ensuring that they are providing high-quality care to patients and clients.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care that addresses their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Conducts assessments and evaluations of patients to determine their psychological needs and develop treatment plans that are tailored to their individual needs.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, ensuring that all documentation is in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
