About The Position

NaphCare is hiring a Psychologist - PRN to join their team at the San Diego Central Jail in San Diego, CA. This role requires a PsyD, EdD, or PhD degree in a behavioral health field and a valid, unrestricted license in CA as a psychologist. Requirements

• Active, unrestricted license as a Psychologist in the state of employment required
• PsyD, EdD, or PhD degree in behavioral health field
• Hold valid, unrestricted license in CA as a psychologist

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall clinical responsibility for the mental health programs within the facility
• Oversee the completion of mental health screenings and evaluations
• Perform sick call visits and chronic care visits
• Conduct rounds in all units
• Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement a treatment plan, and evaluate/modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes
• Coordinate, lead and participate in educational training activities related to mental health care
