Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work and licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker required.
- Strong communication skills are needed to interact with patients, family members, and caregivers.
- Strong collaboration skills and teamwork are needed as an important member of this multidisciplinary team.

- Experience working with patients with neurodegenerative diseases and other neurologic disorders preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides specific psychological services, including evaluation and assessment, cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive rehabilitation, health and behavior intervention, education, consultation, research and other psychological services to individuals and groups with a primary focus on the evidenced based HABIT Healthy Action to Benefit Independence and Thinking Program ® for patients living with Mild Cognitive Impairment and a loved-one partner.
- This position will additionally support alumni of the HABIT program with a variety of evidence based interventions for individuals with cognitive impairment and caregivers/partners.
- Collaborates with the multidisciplinary HABIT team which includes a Neuropsychologist Director, HABIT coordinator, other Master’s level providers, and yoga therapist.
- This provider may also be asked support other neurological populations (epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, brain tumor, functional neurologic disorders) with psychotherapeutic interventions as needed.
- As such the this position will also collaborate closely with the broader Neuropsychology division in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology.
