Provides specific psychological services, including evaluation and assessment, individual and group psychotherapy, cognitive rehabilitation, health and behavior intervention, and other psychological services to a variety of neurological populations. The primary focus is the evidenced based HABIT Healthy Action to Benefit Independence and Thinking Program ® for patients living with Mild Cognitive Impairment (typically early neurodegenerative disease) and a loved-one partner. In addition, this position will involve psychotherapy with adults with a range of neurological conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, brain tumor, or functional neurologic disorder. Strong clinical experience and proficiency in evidence-based psychotherapy approaches and interventions are required for this position. Collaborates with the multidisciplinary HABIT team which includes a Neuropsychologist Director, HABIT coordinator, other Master’s level providers, and yoga therapist as well as the broader Neuropsychology division in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology.
