This position provides direct service to patients in a Behavioral Health Program area. The role involves completing psychosocial assessments, psychological testing, and developing treatment plans in collaboration with patients and a multidisciplinary team. The psychologist will deliver behavioral health care within the scope of their license, provide crisis assessment and intervention, and consult with physicians, therapists, and community agencies. Responsibilities also include discharge planning, referring patients to community resources, participating in clinical collaboration and supervision, maintaining patient records, and attending required meetings. The role may also involve providing in-service education, developing patient education materials, and participating in performance improvement activities.
