This position provides direct service to patients in a Behavioral Health Program area. The role involves completing psychosocial assessments, psychological testing, and treatment plans in cooperation with the patient and a multidisciplinary team. The psychologist will conduct comprehensive assessments of clinical needs, develop treatment plans collaboratively with patients, and deliver behavioral health care within the scope of their license. Responsibilities include crisis assessment and intervention, consultation and coordination of care with physicians, therapists, and community agencies, and providing appropriate discharge planning and referrals. The role also involves participating in clinical collaboration and supervision, maintaining patient records, attending meetings, and contributing to patient education materials and performance improvement activities. The psychologist must comply with all system, state, and TJC policies and regulations.
