About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and engaged Student Animal Caretaker to support the daily care and well-being of rodents in our lab. This role involves assisting with feeding, cleaning, monitoring animal health, and maintaining a safe and sanitary environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with animals.
Requirements
- Must be a current student
- Must be able to work most weekdays and weekends
- Comfortable handling animals in a calm and respectful manner
- Ability to follow directions and adhere to safety protocols
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Must be able to work independently and complete assigned tasks without supervision
- Must be responsible and dependable
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with animals (personal, volunteer, or professional) preferred
- Referral preferred
