Psychiatry Licensed Practical Nurse
About The Position

The Psychiatry LPN will work directly with the Psychiatrist and Medical Director to ensure all clients and new admissions have continued and updated monthly assessments for medications. Prepare Assessment documents that are due each month. Keeping track of the ILP and notifying the psychiatrist. Upload assessments into Meditech each month. Attend monthly meetings, weekly psychiatric reviews, document any changes in medications and email the team. They will obtain and maintain signed consents from the guardian and upload that information into Meditech and X drive. They will prepare CSR’s for the nurse practitioners and Medical Director monthly.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse diploma
- Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or a state Nursing Board in the “Compact State Agreement”
- Ability to meet criminal background, drug screening standards
