About The Position
The Adult Psychiatry position involves providing direct patient care and teaching and supervising residents, fellows, medical students, and other trainees. Candidates may be eligible for a faculty appointment through the OU College of Medicine, with rank commensurate with academic accomplishment and experience. Continued employment is contingent on successfully obtaining Board Certification within the eligibility timeframe of the specialty.
Requirements
- Have or be able to obtain an Oklahoma medical license prior to employment.
- Be board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry.
- Successfully obtain Board Certification within the eligibility timeframe of the specialty as a condition of continued employment.
