About The Position

Thriving Outpatient Health Center seeks a Psychiatrist either to see all ages, just kids, substance abuse patients, or just adults in the Austin, TX area! Multiple locations open! North Austin, South Austin, Bastrop, Harker Heights, and Georgetown! Join a team that provides exceptional and accessible healthcare for their Texas neighbors! This Community Health Center is a non-profit organization serving patients primary and behavioral health needs regardless of insurance or ability to pay. Through innovation and evidence-based practices, this group delivers high quality, patient-centered care. With 26 clinic locations, this group provides more than 355,000 visits to close to 100,000 patients annually. Each site has 1-3 MAs to 4-6 MDs/NPs, plus 2-3 nursing on site always.

Requirements

• MD / DO
• BC/BE in Psychiatry. IF BE, must be able to attain BC within 3 years of hire
• Proactive and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Trauma informed
• Competent in the provision of integrated behavioral healthcare

Responsibilities

• See all ages, just kids, substance abuse patients, or just adults
• Provide primary and behavioral health needs
• Teach mental health interns and/or medical students
• Become an appointed faculty member (optional)
