It involves engaging in quality initiatives, conducting psychiatric assessments, determining diagnoses, completing exams, and prescribing medications. The position also focuses on maintaining positive relationships with clinical and operational teams, assisting with community provider relationships, and providing evidence-based care in a multidisciplinary team setting. The psychiatrist may serve as the attending provider, encouraging patient participation in their treatment through education and communication, and fostering a culture of respect and well-being. Collaboration with team members, family, and outside providers for treatment updates and discharge planning is essential. Responsibilities may also include assisting with admission screenings and participating in promotional efforts for Rogers' expertise.
