About The Position

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join their team at the State Correctional Institution-Greene in Waynesburg, PA. This role involves 40 hours per week, with a potential mix of on-site and telehealth responsibilities. Centurion Health is a leading provider of healthcare services in correctional facilities nationwide and has been partnering with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections since 2003 to deliver mental healthcare. The position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, allowing ample time for patient assessment, progress tracking, and follow-up care. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment, working under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director. This role also includes providing clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team serving patients with psychiatric disorders and other mental health concerns.

Requirements

• MD or DO.
• Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license and DEA.
• BE/BC by the ABPN.
• All qualified applicants are required to successfully complete a security clearance process as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.

Responsibilities

• Provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients.
• Works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director.
• Provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
