A full‑time opportunity for a Psychiatrist working equally across the Integrated Mood, Anxiety and Addictions Concurrent Program (IMAAC) and the Traumatic Stress Injury and Concurrent Program (TSICP), starting immediately. This position is within Homewood Specialized Services. Both programs are delivered on‑site at the Homewood Health Centre in Guelph in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment, supported by nursing, social work, occupational therapy, recreational therapy, psychotherapy, psychology, and expressive therapies. In this role, you will be responsible for the clinical psychiatric care of patients as they progress through structured, evidence‑based treatment programs designed to support mood, anxiety, addiction, and trauma‑related conditions. IMAAC The Integrated Mood, Anxiety and Addictions Concurrent Program (IMAAC) provides a structured, evidence‑based inpatient treatment experience for adults living with mood or anxiety disorders, with or without concurrent substance use. Over a 9‑week stay, patients receive comprehensive psychiatric and clinical care supported by cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, interpersonal therapy, peer recovery groups, addiction programming, and expressive therapies. The program is designed to support stabilization, develop skills for managing symptoms and emotions, and build resilience, while offering coordinated medical, clinical and therapeutic interventions throughout the treatment journey TSICP The Traumatic Stress Injury and Concurrent Program (TSICP) is a 9‑week, trauma‑focused inpatient program for adults who have experienced traumatic events and may also be living with concurrent substance use or mental health conditions. Treatment is grounded in trauma‑informed care and includes cognitive processing therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, motivational interviewing, addiction‑specific programming as required, expressive therapies, and structured peer support. TSICP provides a safe and supportive therapeutic environment designed to help individuals address the physical, psychological and social impacts of trauma, promote recovery, and strengthen long‑term coping and wellness
