About The Position

Centurion Health is seeking a part-time, weekend only Psychiatrist to join their team at Joliet Inpatient Treatment Center in Joliet, Illinois. The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients. This role works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in delivering mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required.
• Active, unrestricted MD/DO Illinois license or ability to obtain.
• Active, unrestricted DEA.
• Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check.
• BC/BE in a Psychiatry specialty is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients.
• Work under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director.
• Provide clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
