You will be conducting VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) evaluations for Veterans. This role involves performing objective, structured psychological assessments to assist the VA in determining disability benefits. This is a non-treatment, non-therapeutic role focused strictly on evaluation and documentation. Evaluations may be conducted in person and/or via telehealth, depending on assignment needs.
Requirements
- MD/DO license
- Strong report-writing and documentation skills
- Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols

Responsibilities
- Conduct structured psychological evaluations for Veterans based on VA guidelines
- Utilize Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and standardized assessment tools
- Gather relevant history through focused, objective interviews
- Document findings clearly and concisely in VA-required formats
- Provide factual, unbiased assessments without influencing outcomes
- Complete and submit reports within required timeframes
- No diagnosing for treatment, therapy, or medication management
- Maintain strict boundaries between evaluation and clinical care
- Adhere to all ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards
- Maintain professionalism when working with Veteran populations
