About The Position

The Psychiatrist will direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of their licensure. They will participate in the leadership of the program by communicating with program staff and members served, and by ensuring superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards, and client and community needs. This is a part-time, 24-hours per week position, working Friday-Sunday from 7am-3:30pm onsite. Telecare's mission is to deliver excellent and effective behavioral health services that engage individuals in recovering their health, hopes, and dreams. Telecare continues to advance cultural diversity, humility, equity, and inclusion at all levels of our organization by hiring mental health peers, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, veterans, and all belief systems. Multnomah Crisis and Treatment Center (CATC) is a subacute 16-bed, 24/7 program that serves as a secure short-term crisis program for adults with persistent and serious mental illness, who live in Multnomah County.

Requirements

A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association and successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry
Active DEA in good standing
