Full-Time Psychiatrist Location: High Focus Centers – Center City, Philadelphia, PA High Focus Centers, a leading provider of outpatient behavioral health treatment, is seeking a Full-Time Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in Center City Philadelphia. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adolescents and adults receiving care for mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. We are looking for a compassionate, board-certified psychiatrist who is committed to clinical excellence and collaborative, patient-centered care. Schedule Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM This is a fully in-person position based in our Center City Philadelphia office.

Requirements

  • Board Certification in Psychiatry required.
  • Active Pennsylvania medical license required.
  • Minimum of two years of post-residency experience in psychiatric medicine preferred.
  • Experience treating adolescents and adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with CARF, DDAP, and Office of Mental Health standards.
  • Strong working knowledge of HIPAA and ethical standards of care.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality psychiatric care in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting.
  • Strong clinical judgment and knowledge of evidence-based behavioral healthcare practices.
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement and outcome-driven patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management sessions.
  • Monitor client progress, review laboratory results, and manage medication treatment plans.
  • Prepare discharge orders and prescriptions in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Collaborate closely with therapists, nursing staff, and other medical professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Provide clinical consultation and support to the multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Participate in peer review, case consultation, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Support the ongoing development and enhancement of psychiatric services across the program.
