About The Position

We are seeking a licensed Psychiatrist to provide high-quality psychiatric services on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be experienced in conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health conditions, developing treatment plans, and providing medication management. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine(MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine(D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency Program.
  • Board Certified in Psychiatry (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology – ABPN).
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as a contracted provider.
  • Contractor shall maintain all required licenses/registrations (PA license, DEA) and professional liability insurance with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence/$3,000,000 aggregate and provide proof upon request.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in outpatient behavioral health, community mental health, or integrated care settings.
  • Experience treating diverse patient populations.
  • Clearances in accordance with PA Acts 33 & 80
  • Proficiency with EHR for charting/prescribing.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications as clinically appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with therapists, counselors, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in case consultations and treatment team meetings as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, Interact policies and professional standards.
  • Provide administrative and clinical leadership and consultation to the psychiatric outpatient clinic.
  • Provide direct consultation and collaboration with CRNPs per the collaborative agreement(s).
  • Participate in treatment planning and provide psychiatric consultation as needed.
  • Maintain availability for psychiatric oversight of prescribing and client care in accordance with program requirements.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of clinical policies, protocols, and quality standards.
  • Conduct chart reviews and ensure timely documentation in Interact’s Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Provide consultation during compliance reviews, audits, or investigations.
  • Complete all required training.
