Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Kansas.
  • DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
  • Strong commitment to serving rural and underserved populations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and crisis intervention services for individuals across a variety of programs and levels of care.
  • Partner with clinical, administrative, and leadership teams to ensure exceptional client outcomes and the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services.
  • Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and organizational leadership in the planning, development, and continuous improvement of clinical programs and services.
  • Serve as a trusted clinical resource by providing consultation, guidance, and support to interdisciplinary treatment teams.
  • Participate in case reviews, quality improvement initiatives, and strategic discussions that help advance the Center's mission and strengthen care delivery throughout the region.
  • Conduct psychiatric reviews and medication management appointments while supporting continuity of care across multiple service locations.
  • Build meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues while helping address critical mental health needs in rural and underserved communities.
  • Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, innovation, and collaboration while developing your own leadership skills and professional growth.
