About The Position

This role involves providing general and administrative duties related to psychiatric services. The Psychiatrist will be accountable to the Medical Director for professional and administrative activities, collaborating with staff and providers to ensure the quality of care and treatment for patients. The position requires adherence to the highest standards of conduct and best practices in psychiatric medicine.

Responsibilities

• Accountability to Employer’s Medical Director for all professional and administrative activities within the Employer.
• Collaborate with employer and employer’s staff and providers to ensure appropriateness and quality of the care and the treatment of patients served by the psychiatric services, consistent with each particular patient’s care needs and best interest.
• Demonstrate behavior that exemplifies the highest standards of conduct on and off the job.
• Demonstrate a willingness and capacity to work effectively with the Employer’s staff in a professional manner.
• Practice compliance with all Clinical Excellence best practices/recommendations, and perform in accordance with psychiatric specific evidenced-based medicine and national guidelines.
