Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Valid Pennsylvania state medical license
- Valid DEA #
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Without any exclusions from CMS
- Valid PA state required clearances, Current CPR, First Aid Training
- Current Act 31 Child Abuse Training
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations to assess patients' mental health status
- Diagnose mental health disorders and develop personalized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage medication for patients as needed
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals and groups
- Provide consults to primary care providers
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Stay current on developments in the field of psychiatry and addiction treatment
- Participate in continuing education activities
