Apply now to be part of a mission-focused environment supporting healing and recovery. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced psychiatrist to join our dynamic team in an in-patient setting. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, to clients with a wide range of mental health disorders. The psychiatrist will work collaboratively with our team of psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Completed residency in Psychiatry.
  • Valid medical license to practice in North Carolina.
  • Valid DEA license in North Carolina.
  • Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of child and adolescent mental health disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for clients in an in-patient setting.
  • Offer support for outpatient services.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage medication as necessary.
  • Provide psychotherapy and counseling as part of treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and other collaborative efforts.
  • Stay current with developments in psychiatry and participate in continuing education activities.
