Requirements
- MD degree and completed a residency in psychiatry
- Current license to practice in state of Tennessee without sanctions.
- Documented evidence of training or knowledge of psychiatric management.
- Current CEU requirements in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- Working with Dually Diagnosed a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment and development of appropriate plan of care
- Involve client, family and staff in execution of Plan of care
- Intervene as warranted in response to DISCUS assessment
- Incorporate interdisciplinary assessments into Plan of care such as BDP, IEP and other medical disciplines
- Provide mandated oversight to Advance Practice Nurses
- Provide Consultation as warranted to other clinical staff
- Assist in development of clinical policies and procedures
- Other duties as maybe assigned.
