About The Position
Board Certified / Board Eligible Psychiatrist for an on-site VA opportunity in Memphis, TN at the Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center. Compensation: $190.00/ HR
Requirements
- Active unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Current BLS and ACLS
- On-site availability during clinic hours plus call coverage
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
- Board Certified / Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Current BLS and ACLS or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Inpatient and outpatient psychiatry
- Evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up
- Residential and specialty clinic coverage
- Collaboration with VA mental health staff
- Peer reviews and required documentation
