About The Position

Iris Telehealth is seeking a board-certified Psychiatrist licensed in West Virginia for a fully remote, part-time opportunity. This role involves providing outpatient psychiatric care to adults aged 18+ within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting. The position offers a consistent Monday-Wednesday schedule, treating a full spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses. Requirements

  • Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency.
  • Board Certification in psychiatry required.
  • Active West Virginia medical license required.
  • Availability for 24 hours per week, Monday through Wednesday, during the scheduled 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET hours.
  • Experience and comfort treating adults across the full spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses.
  • Must reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality psychiatric care to adults ages 18+ in an outpatient FQHC setting.
  • Treat patients with a full spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses.
  • Conduct initial evaluations (60 minutes) and follow-up visits (20 minutes).
  • Manage approximately 8-12 patients per day.
  • Focus on delivering impactful patient care with dedicated support staff available for administrative needs.
