About The Position

Psychiatrist (Interventional / Addiction Psychiatry / Clinical Research) - OPEN TO NEW GRADS! Location: Orange County, CA Schedule: Monday - Friday, Hybrid options Compensation range: Base salary $325,000 + total compensation up to $541,000 based on clinical productivity, patient care, and supervision activities. You’ll work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary outpatient setting alongside psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and therapists, with a strong focus on continuity of care, patient outcomes, and meaningful community impact, offering both in-person and telehealth services.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
  • Active California medical license, NPI, and DEA
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience or interest in Addiction Psychiatry/Addiction Medicine, Clinical Research, or Interventional Psychiatry

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management (in-person and telehealth)
  • Develop and coordinate individualized treatment plans with an interdisciplinary care team
  • Supervise and collaborate with NPs, PAs, and therapists
  • Participate in interventional psychiatry and clinical research opportunities
  • Provide crisis support as needed and engage community resources
  • Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
