About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Idaho Department of Correction. We are currently seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to join our team at Idaho State Correctional Institution located in Kuna, Idaho. The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
Requirements
- Idaho unrestricted medical license or ability to obtain
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- DEA
- Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance
Responsibilities
- Provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients
- Works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director
- Provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
