About The Position

Intermountain Health is hiring a Psychiatrist to provide full-time outpatient care at the new Alta View Psychiatry Clinic in Sandy, Utah, which is set to open in summer 2027. The psychiatrist will work with healthcare professionals committed to quality care and an excellent patient experience. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the option to work four 10-hour days. The position offers a $30,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance, and a stipend and student loan repayment when applicable. Intermountain also provides paid time off, license reimbursement, malpractice insurance coverage, an annual CME allowance, and a broader benefits package. The role requires an MD or DO, psychiatry residency training, board certification or eligibility, and the ability to obtain or maintain the relevant Utah medical license and prescribing credentials.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
Residency training in Psychiatry.
Board certification or eligibility.
Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA registration, or the ability to obtain them.
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
