Physician: General Psychiatry - Sycamore, IL
About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join its Behavioral Health team in Sycamore, Illinois. The role provides high-quality outpatient psychiatric care to adults in a collaborative, team-based environment. The position includes 36 patient-facing hours per week, a Monday–Friday clinic schedule with a combination of in-person and telehealth clinic days, and system-wide use of Epic EMR. The psychiatrist will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care and support program development and expansion of advanced behavioral health treatment modalities.
Requirements
- MD or DO with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Eligible for Illinois medical licensure.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct new psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for adult patients.
- Develop and manage treatment plans, including medication management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Support program development and expansion of advanced behavioral health treatment modalities.
