About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking a full-time onsite Psychiatrist to join their team at Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, Indiana. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for patients. This role involves working under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director and providing clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team in delivering mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues. The compensation is at least $200/hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
- Active, unrestricted MD/DO Indiana license or ability to obtain
- Active, unrestricted DEA
- Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check
Responsibilities
- Provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients
- Works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director
- Provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues
