About The Position

This is a psychiatry role focused on outpatient care, designed to support early-career psychiatrists, newly licensed clinicians, or those transitioning into outpatient psychiatry. Requirements

• MD or DO (Psychiatry)
• Board eligible or board certified
• Licensed or license-eligible in New York State
• Interest in outpatient psychiatry
• Collaborative mindset and patient-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental status exams
• Develop and implement treatment plans with team support
• Manage outpatient medication treatment
• Work with patients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and complex conditions
• Collaborate with therapists, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff
• Participate in suicide risk assessments with guidance and support
• Gain experience treating co-occurring disorders and personality presentations
• Document care using modern EMR systems
