About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Psychiatrist - Outpatient to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health, Broadway and NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health, Cumberland. Opportunity Details: Provide direct care to patients referred or assigned to the Substance Use Disorders (aka SUD) outpatient team, including best practices for medication management, appropriate and timely care, and comprehensive documentation. Complete psychiatric admission assessment, with a focus on comprehensive risk assessment for all new intakes, and re-assessment of patients, in a timely fashion consistent with policy. Complete treatment plan documentation consistent with policy and appropriate to patient's risk level. Partner with interdisciplinary team members to review and approve care plans. Clinical partnerships and referrals within system, to other Gotham sites. Provide supervisory oversight to clinical team members, including but not limited to Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Psychologists. May participate in and/or facilitate collaborative case conference, team meeting, and high-risk patient committees for review of quality of care and guidance towards best-practices.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
  • Active New York State Medical License.

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $267,900 (board eligible); $278,200 (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.
  • Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
  • The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $398,690 (board eligible) and $410,020 (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000.
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
