About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Psychiatrist - Outpatient to join the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx. This community hospital provides a range of services and is known for its outstanding Behavioral Health, Women’s Health, Primary Care, Pediatric, Geriatric, and Specialty Ambulatory services. Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
Active New York State Medical License.

Responsibilities

Review of initial psychiatric evaluations conducted by therapists and ongoing treatment of these patients.
Full assessment and management of Medication Management only cases.
Provide concrete services such as medication prior authorization, disability reports, requests for home health services/Medicaid services/Transportation services, other health insurance-related issues, documentation for referrals/employers/legal issues, etc.
Participate in staff meetings and supervision by the OPD Director as needed.
Participate in all educational activities including required mandatory trainings, Grand Rounds, PI meetings, and Incident Review meetings as needed.

Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $267,900 (board eligible); $278,200 (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.
Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000.
Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
