CLFC Healthcare and Communications is seeking a board-certified psychiatrist to serve as the Medical Director for the Choate Center, a state-operated facility under the Illinois Department of Human Services. This leadership role involves overseeing the medical staff and ensuring the overall quality of clinical care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, particularly within a 40-bed forensic unit. The position also previously included oversight of 75 behavioral health beds, which are being phased out by March 2027, after which the focus will be solely on the forensic unit. This is a weekday daytime leadership position with a multi-year state contract, supported by a CLFC operations team to allow the Medical Director to focus on clinical leadership.
