About The Position

Hartford HealthCare’s Behavioral Health Network (HHC BHN), the largest and most comprehensive behavioral health system in New England, has an opportunity for a BE / BC Geriatric Psychiatrist to join their multidisciplinary Cognitive and Memory Disorder team in Wethersfield, CT. This role offers the chance to join a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary care team with supportive physician leadership that fosters professional development and growth, and provides opportunities for advancement into clinical leadership roles. The position is 100% Outpatient with no call, weekend, or holiday shifts, operating 4 clinical days per week. The Psychiatrist will also participate in didactic activities, clinical research, academic posters and presentations, and fellowship/resident/student training. Hartford HealthCare is an integrated healthcare system with extensive capabilities, including seven acute care hospitals, community teaching hospitals, and a large multi-specialty medical group. The location near Boston and New York City offers access to excellent schools, diverse recreational activities, and various living environments.
