About The Position

TrueCare is a healthcare provider serving San Diego and Riverside Counties, committed to making healthcare accessible to everyone, regardless of income or insurance status. The Child Psychiatrist is responsible for evaluating and diagnosing mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders affecting children, adolescents, and their families. The role involves helping these individuals manage, ease, or heal disorders through treatments or medications within an integrated and holistic care model. This position offers the opportunity to work with both adult and pediatric patients, with flexible scheduling for in-person appointments and TelePsych. The typical patient volume ranges from 10-18 patients per day.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry through ABPN.
Child and Adolescent focus but willing to also see Adult patients.
Current or Pending Medical License from the State of California.
Current BLS and DEA License.

Responsibilities

Evaluating and diagnosing mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders affecting children, adolescents, and their families.
Administering treatments or medications to help children, adolescents, and their families manage, ease, or heal a disorder.
Working within an integrated and holistic care model.
Seeing both adult and pediatric patients.
Conducting new patient evaluations (60 minutes) and follow-up appointments (20 minutes), with flexibility for patient/provider needs.
