About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Psychiatrist - Addiction Services to join the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Required.
Active New York State Medical License.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Addiction Psychiatry Preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical care for patients in the outpatient addiction clinic and opioid treatment program.
Diagnose substance use disorders and non-substance related addiction disorders and recommend treatment that considers levels of care criteria.
Assist medical leadership with Quality Assurance and Process Improvement projects as needed.
Teach and train fellows, residents, and medical students rotating on addiction services, as well as preparing didactic presentations as needed.

Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $267,900 (board eligible); $278,200 (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.
Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $438,690 (board eligible) and $450,020 (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000.
Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
