About The Position
Psychiatric Technicians are encouraged to consider per diem work with Liberty Healthcare’s forensic mental health program in Riverside County. This program provides high quality psychiatric services to adults who are justice-involved and experiencing mental illness. Services are provided onsite at the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside and the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning, CA.
Requirements
- Per diem work
- Forensic mental health program experience
- Experience providing psychiatric services to adults who are justice-involved and experiencing mental illness
- Ability to provide care to patients in-person within the jail
- Ability to provide health education and basic counseling services
- Ability to document health status and treatment progress
- Ability to participate in clinical team meetings
- Ability to collaborate with psychiatrists, licensed clinicians, and security staff
- Ability to help ensure program clients receive high quality mental health services
