This position is responsible for observing, reporting, and documenting changes in patient behavior, interacting therapeutically with patients, and assisting in various therapeutic activities. The role involves participating in social and recreational activities, group therapy, and patient teaching groups. The Psychiatric Technician will utilize CPI techniques, conduct regular patient rounds, and demonstrate flexibility in managing workload. Responding to patients with empathy, maintaining their dignity and confidentiality, and participating in unit-based process improvement activities and committees are key aspects of the role. On-call duties may be requested, and all mandatory training must be completed.
