Psychiatric Technician (Float Pool II), Per Diem Day Shift, Behavioral Health
About The Position
Shady Grove Medical Center Behavioral Health seeks to hire an experienced Psychiatric Technician for our Float Pool II who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will facilitate patient-professional collaboration at all levels of health care, monitor therapeutic treatment, and recognize and value differences in the care team, creating a setting conducive to opinion-sharing. You will collaborate with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures, incorporate clinical guidelines into patient care, and use information technology to deliver safe and efficient care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years in related field
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
- Prior experience in inpatient behavioral health setting preferred
