About The Position
Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center's Behavioral Health Department is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Technician to join their team. This role focuses on facilitating patient-professional collaboration, monitoring therapeutic treatment, and contributing to a positive team environment. The technician will collaborate with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures, incorporate clinical guidelines, and utilize information technology for efficient and safe patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year in related field
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in inpatient behavioral health setting preferred
- Qualified candidates with a minimum of 1 year of Inpatient Psych experience will be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
