About The Position

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Psych Tech for their Float Pool II. The role involves embracing the mission to extend God’s care through physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Psych Tech, the individual will facilitate patient-professional collaboration, monitor therapeutic treatment, recognize and value differences in the care team, and create a setting conducive to opinion-sharing. They will also collaborate with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures, incorporate clinical guidelines into patient care, and use information technology to deliver safe and efficient care. Requirements

Minimum of 2 years in related field
High School Diploma or GED
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in inpatient behavioral health setting preferred
