About The Position

In this role, the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker will help each consumer reach a maximum level of self-sufficiency through individualized interventions as well as the support of an overall therapeutic milieu. Interventions are based on service plans developed collaboratively with individual consumers.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree with at least 1 year of experience in a human services‑related field
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
PA Criminal Clearance
PA Child Abuse Clearance (if applicable)
FBI Fingerprint Clearance
Valid Driver’s License
Not listed on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion lists

Responsibilities

Provide recovery‑oriented psychiatric rehabilitation services based on individualized service plans
Support consumers with daily living skills, medication education, budgeting, self‑care, and supportive counseling
Maintain a small caseload (4–5 consumers) while promoting independence and personal growth
Accompany consumers to medical appointments and complete daily van runs
Administer medications in accordance with DPW standards
Respond appropriately to crisis situations and support healthy relationships
Complete required documentation and maintain compliance with 2600 regulations
Collaborate with program staff while working independently as needed
Assist with light housekeeping, meals, and other hands‑on support as required
