About The Position
Friendship House is opening a new Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program at its Whole Person Care Center, 415 Biden Street, Scranton, Pennsylvania. The program provides psychiatric rehabilitation services to individuals aged 18 and older across the life domains of living wellness, learning, working, and socializing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with an academic concentration in an area relevant to the position, or at least a high school diploma or GED.
- Two years of work experience in human services, including one year of direct-care experience in mental health.
- One year of experience delivering community-based psychiatric rehabilitation services.
- Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) certification, or obtain CPRP certification within the first year of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with people with psychiatric disabilities and co-occurring disorders.
